Do I need all three services, or can I choose just one?
Each service is independent and complete on its own. Many clients begin with the Mark-Making Consultation to assess their space before committing to a full design. Others come in knowing exactly what they need. We're happy to discuss which starting point fits your situation.
How does the on-site consultation process work?
We visit your space, take measurements, document existing conditions, and spend time understanding how you use the rooms. This is followed by a written assessment with specific observations and a set of curated reference materials. The entire process is completed and delivered within one week.
Are the prices fixed, or are there additional costs?
The service fees listed are fixed for the design work itself. Material costs, contractor fees, and furniture purchases are separate and budgeted with your input — you decide what's spent and where. We'll provide clear cost estimates before any procurement begins.
Do you work on commercial spaces as well as residential?
Yes. We work with both residential clients and small creative commercial spaces — studios, concept stores, offices. The approach is similar: understanding the space, its constraints, and the people who use it. We're less focused on large-scale retail or hospitality projects.
What areas in Kuala Lumpur do you serve?
We're based in Mont Kiara and work across the Klang Valley — including Bangsar, KLCC, Damansara, Subang, and Petaling Jaya. For projects further afield, we consider these on a case-by-case basis depending on scope and timeline.
How should I prepare before getting in touch?
No particular preparation is needed. It's helpful to have a rough sense of what's bothering you about the space, or what you'd like it to feel like — but even that isn't required. The initial conversation is there precisely to help figure out what the right next steps might be.
